Hey everyone,
It’s been a minute since my last post, and I wanted to take a moment to check in, and be real with you.
The last month has been intense. Between prepping for the Senior National Finals Rodeo (SNFR) and everything that comes with stepping into that arena, I’ve had my hands full, and then some. What I didn’t expect was to walk away from Round 1 with three fractured ribs.
That kind of pain doesn’t just slow you down. It stops you cold.
Recovery’s been tough, physically, sure, but also mentally. I’ve had to let go of the momentum I was building and focus on healing. No riding. No training. And for a while, no writing either.
I’ve missed being here. I’ve missed telling stories, sharing insights, and connecting with the people who ride alongside me, whether it’s in the arena or in life.
So, to anyone who’s been checking in, waiting on the next post, or just wondering what’s up, thank you. I’m still here. I’m healing. And I’m looking forward to what’s next.
More to come soon.
– Josh
